"Hari ini, fotojurnalis tidak perlu lagi bergantung pada hasil percetakan (hardpress) untuk mengedarkan kerja mereka. Mereka boleh menggunakan Web untuk mengedarkannya sendiri. Kini berjuta-juta manusia boleh melihat sendiri kekuatan gambar-gambar yang terpapar di skrin komputer mereka (softpress) melaui Internet - Imej yang selalunya tidak terpilih atau yang telah ditapis oleh agensi-agensi akhbar konvensional (arus perdana). Oleh sebab itu (Web) telah memberi potensi luas bagi meningkatkan kualiti dan impak fotojurnalisma kepada penentubahan semasa".

Thanks to growing access to the World Wide Web, millions of people around the world will be stimulated by the powerful images transmitted to their computer screens - images not always preselected or filtered by conventional news agencies.
